Who’s Ready for the American Royal?

The whole Brown family is gearing up for the American Royal this weekend. As far as we know, it’s the largest BBQ competition in the nation. KC Windustrial Company is sponsoring “The Pipe Dream Smoking Team,” who is using OUR sauce. They probably have an unfair advantage, but we aren’t telling the judges!

The festivities start on Friday, October 5. Papa himself will be there starting at about 5 pm: shaking hands, kissing babies, and probably giving all the BBQ a fair sample. Saturday, October 6, the whole Brown family will be there all day joining in the festivities. We would love to see some of you out there. ”The Pipe Dream Smoking Team” will be set up in the NE corner of Kemper Arena, Lot D 008. If you can’t make it out, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for us in the news.

Hey fans! There’s lots of exciting news from Papa Brown’s. We have been mighty busy, making our way into quite a few Cosentino’s Price Chopper Stores over the past few months. It really is “deliciously addictive”, folks! Next on the schedule is a tailgate event 9/29. Come on down and join us this Saturday at Apple Market for a tailgate party. 350 Hwy and Raytown Rd, 11-4.

Everyone in Brown Family Recipes is getting pumped for the American Royal starting 10/4. Be sure to keep a lookout for Papa Brown’s at the competition. More info to come.
